To-dos
To-dos are checklist items on a track — what's left to do, and what's done.
Adding a to-do
On any track's page, find To-dos — a column beside the Feed on a wide screen, a tab on a phone or narrow window. Type in Add a to-do… and click Create. Any project member can add one.
A to-do attaches to the track's featured version by default. Use the Version menu under the box to point it at a different version, or choose Song (no version) for something about the track as a whole.
Tip: on a wide screen, press T on the track page to jump straight into the to-do box.
Mentioning people
Type @ to mention a collaborator in a to-do, the same as in a post or reply. They get a notification, by push or email depending on their notification settings — handy for "@alex can you re-cut the intro?"
Marking a to-do done
Check the box on a to-do to mark it done. It shows up as a card in the project's feed on the Activity tab, so collaborators can see progress without anyone having to ask.
Any project member can check a to-do done or reopen it — not just whoever created it.
Editing and deleting
Click one of your own to-dos to edit it; Delete is next to Save. Only the person who wrote a to-do can edit or delete it.
Note: a to-do that's marked done is read-only. To edit it again, reopen it first by unchecking the box.
Showing and hiding done to-dos
Done to-dos don't disappear — they're just tucked out of the way. Turn on Hide resolved above the list to see only what's still open. The setting sticks across your devices.
Where to-dos show up
The To-Dos column on the Tracks page counts each track's open to-dos, and so does each card on a playlist's status board. It's a quick way to spot which tracks still have work waiting.
