Posting, replying, and reacting
How you talk about the music in Dosido: post an update on a track, reply to anything in a feed, react with an emoji, and @-mention people to pull them in.
Posting on a track
On a track's page, write in the box at the top of the Feed β it asks What's happening with the track β and click Post. The post shows up in the track's Feed and in the project's feed on the Activity tab, so the whole project sees it.
To post about the project in general rather than one track, use the same box on the project's Activity tab.
Any project member can post.
Replying
Cards in a feed β posts, new versions, checkouts β have a π¬ button underneath showing how many replies they have. Click it to open the replies, type in the Replyβ¦ box, and click Post. Any project member can reply.
Tip: replies go to the whole thread, not to one person. To get a particular person's attention,
@-mention them in your reply.
Reacting
Click the face button under a card or reply (Add a reaction) and pick an emoji, or choose More emoji for the full set. To add the same reaction someone else already has, click it; click your own again to take it back. Hover over a reaction to see who added it.
Mentioning people
Type @ in a post, a reply, or a to-do, and a list of project members pops up β pick one and their name drops in. They get a notification, by push or email depending on their notification settings, and it shows up under Notifications in their sidebar.
To see every comment and reply that mentions you, filter Home or a project's Activity tab to Mentions of you.
Only people in the project can be mentioned. Someone who only has a share link can't be.
Editing and deleting
You can change or remove your own posts and replies β nobody else's, even as a project owner or admin.
- A post β open the three-dot menu on it and choose Edit or Delete post.
- A reply β click it to edit it. Delete is next to Save.
