Creating your Dosido account
Claiming your invitation, signing in with a magic code, and the one setup step before you're in.
Dosido is invite-only for now. To create an account you need an invitation link — usually from someone adding you to their project. There's no public sign-up page yet.
Dosido uses magic codes instead of passwords:
- Open your invitation link.
- Enter your email, check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click Send me a magic code.
- Dosido emails you a one-time code. Enter it to sign in.
The first time in, a short Create your account step asks for your first name, last name, and a username. A profile photo is optional here. You can't continue until your name and username are filled in.
Then you land on Home. If someone invited you to their project, a card there shows who it was and which project — click Join and the project's name to go in.
Tip: your username becomes your
@handle— it's how people mention you in posts and replies and find you in a project. Pick something you'll be happy with!
Signing in later
Enter your email on the sign-in page and Dosido sends a fresh code. Once you've added a phone number to your account, you can enter that instead and get the code by text.
If your link doesn't work
A personal invitation works once and expires after 7 days. If yours has already been used, was revoked, or has run out, Dosido says the invite isn't usable. Ask the person who invited you for a fresh link — there's no way to revive an old one.
